Get Out the Vote- Vote Poster
The Task
The project required creating a nonpartisan campaign poster and matching instagram post square to promote U.S. citizens to vote for the 2024 elections. The focus is to utilize typography to emphasize the message.
The Outcome
I created a poster that urges all citizens to safeguard their rights and values. Using boxing imagery-a sport symbolizing struggle and resilience-the design frames voting as an impactful action. The halftone texture and straight-edged type convey the raw, impactful nature of this "fight". The diagonal header mirrors the energetic and confrontational style of vintage boxing posters, evoking urgency and intensity. The gloved "punch" on "your" underscores personal responsibility. Together, these elements visually communicate that your vote truly "packs a punch."
